D Connector Covers Broadcast Equipment The majority of equipment manufactured in the UK and USA uses 4-40 UNC jackposts. However, much broadcast equipment from the Far East utilises M2.6 jackposts. Therefore as standard we offer our five most popular sizes of D hood with M2.6 fixings. The hoods are manufactured from metallised plastic and offer a very secure cable clamp arrangement.
