 This style of sliding rack shelf is designed for use with equipment which has its own rack ears. To allow the tray to slide fully home, the front slide rail brackets must be fitted to the rear of the rack strip using the bar nuts provided. The rear brackets are fitted with standard cage nuts and screws. They can be fitted to racks having depths of between 600mm and 800mm Sliding rack trays are currently available with cut-outs for Tascam DA88, Sony PCM 800 and Sony PCM7030, however, custom units are available to special order. The sliding base is 1U high so allowance should be made for this when designing rack layouts. Machines and equipment of up to 30 Kg in weight can be used with these shelves. |
