 'Behind every good wireman', or so they say, is a Bryant Broadcast rack tray for holding those essentials like soldering irons, connectors, coffee, betting slips etc., whilst rack building and wiring. The tray has holes for holding a mix of D and XLR connectors whilst soldering and has been cunningly designed to screw over the top of any 1U piece of kit, so that it can be used front or rear in a fully loaded rack. One just removes the top 2 screws in a 1U panel and retrofits the tray temporarily as required. There's even a slot for your incoming soldering iron mains lead, so that the 'business end' won't topple off the tray and onto your sandals.
