 Castor Kits are now available to fit our flat pack rack range comprising a pair of replacement support tubes, each fitted with two double castors. These replace the plain support tubes that are supplied with the rack and will need to be fitted before the rack is filled with equipment. When fitting castor kits, the centre of gravity of the filled rack should be considered. By their very nature tall racks have a high centre of gravity and the possibility exists that the rack could topple over when it is moved. Because of this we do not advise fitting these castors to racks taller than 24U high. When fitted with castors, the height of the rack is increased by 75mm and the maximum weight of the rack, including equipment, must be no more than 150 Kg. |
