CAD/CAM
Our CNC Milling/Punching machinery and associated CAD/CAM software allows us to import dimensionally accurate Drawing Exchange Files (.DXF) and machine them with minimal tinkering. (What you draw is what you get!)
Alternatively drawings can be supplied to us in any format (yes, even on the dreaded fag packet!), then after acceptance of our quotation, one of our skilled draughtsmen will draw it up on our CAD system and send you a copy for approval before proceeding to manufacture.
DXF files can be sent to us on PC format disc or by E-Mail in either mime or UU-Encoded format. Files should not contain any 3D information and should be metric with the panel, cut-outs and engraving etc. on separate layers.
Panels can be milled in either our aluminium extrusion for 1U to 3U high, or flat aluminium for up to 8U high.
CNC Punching is available in either mild steel or aluminium up to 4mm thick, with sheet sizes up to 2M x 1M.
