 This ruggedised RJ45 CAT5e connector range has been designed to protect the fragile latch and cover of 'standard' RJ45 plugs and is particularly suitable for harsh and demanding environments such as outside broadcast, stage production, point of sale etc. Three types of panel connector are available to fit the A series or the universal D series cut outs; two have Krone IDC blocks on the rear for cable termination and one (D Series only) is a back to back connector. PCB mount versions to fit the A series cut out and 110 punchdown versions to fit the A or D series cut out are available to special order. The cable adaptors consist of a diecast shell, finished in Nickel or Black, with a unique chuck type strain relief and can be retrofitted to preterminated RJ45 cables. The RJ45 plug itself is not supplied. Please Note: Although the D series panel connector (NE8FDVYK) is designed as a rear mount connector, it is possible to sandwich the mounting panel between the front and rear parts of the connector assembly where front mounting is required. Additionally, this connector cannot be fitted to our 1U XTP panel or the bottom row of our 3U XTP panel without the panel being modified. |
