 These connectors have been manufactured to a Bryant Broadcast design by Neutrik in Lichtenstein. Utilising parts from standard right angle connectors, together with some custom metalwork, they offer an excellent solution to the problem of 'which sex XLR should be at which end' of a multi-quad cable, and will find favour amongst the outside broadcast fraternity. Each side of the connector retains the ability to set at a number of fixed angles, independently of the other side. This allows the body to point in the same direction irrespective of which side is plugged in. Unfortunately, coloured cable glands are not available for these connectors. |
