 1U, 19 inch rack mounting, drawer style construction with slide and tilt mechanism for ease of installation and re-entry. Preloaded with ST, SC or LC coupling bushings, cable management and cable glands to reduce on site set up time. These patch panels will accommodate tight buffered or loose tube cable with fibre counts from 4 to 24 in any combination. Two cable glands are mounted at the rear of the panel. Unused panel positions can be fitted with blanking plugs. Fibre management rings are provided to ensure maximum performance and reliability, together with relevant splice holders. All fibre management components are fixed into position to ensure correct location of fibre paths. These panels are ideal when using 'LightCrimp Plus' connectors on multi-way fibre backbone cables, because the incoming LightCrimp may be terminated straight to the inner face of the appropriate panel mounted coupler. However, they are also available loaded with internal 'pig tails' (at extra cost) so that jointing can take place within the tray rather than at the panel mounted coupler.
